The bars descend towards the bottom of the canvas seeking escape. Almost represents a battle to get to the end amidst the world's natural chaos. To finish school, to find a replacement job, to try something new. You're almost there.

Inverted Flag Series

Ever since I was a young lass I had an affection for flags and subsequently geography as well. This is a little different from when I was younger, when drew flags on loose leaf with color pencils, but looking back I think drawing those flags made me a better designer today. Now as an adult, slowly gaining the means to explore this beautiful world, I can't wait to see these flags fly in their respective countries. Go everywhere and do everything!
